Taking it to the streets

Later this afternoon, we will be boarding a train and heading out west!  Approximately 15 days after that, we'll be back in Chicago hooking up our recently restored trailer and....heading out west again!

Other than the obvious perks of seeing friends and family and having an awesome adventure, we'll be a mobile office and we are taking meetings.  Follow along here and be in touch!

We're big in Texas

Attic Fire recently photographed the Moody Gardens Hotel in Galveston, Texas.  It's a huge, beautiful resort with three pyramids housing tons of activities.  Despite constant rain the Attic Fire team got fabulous images, these guys are the best.  Can't wait to go back!

It's Electra! Boogey oogey oogey.

Last week was spent in New York battling weather conditions for a shoot with Eric Prine Photography. A geographically ambiguous, seasonally ambiguous, outdoor shoot.  With tons of variables and lots of obstacles in our way, it (eventually) went off without a hitch.  HUGE thanks to our crew!  It's so fun when everyone you work with is a good friend, professional and creative problem solvers.

Here are some behind the scenes pics....you get a prize if you can guess what kind of ad we're shooting.

Breakfast REPRESENT!

In honor of Seth Lowe's amazing breakfast project, we've been asking our fans and followers to post images of their breakfast and use #claxtonrepsbreakfast.

We've got a couple of entries and so far our favorite comes from @anotherkindofdrew, who simply loves his coffee.  Drew, we can relate.

Monumental images from Attic Fire!

Attic Fire Photography was back in DC for another shoot recently and took some time to photograph the monuments at dusk. Being from the District, we here at Claxton Represents have seen tons of images of the monuments that all look the same. We LOVE these images from Attic Fire that have a different perspective, these guys are truly amazing.

happy happy

It makes us very happy when we have great clients and a great shoot and great images as a result, and then even happier when those images are used in great advertisements!

Bucketfeet is a local Chicago shoe company that is launching into superstardom, Brian Sorg has been lucky to help them out with that.  Here are some of their ads!

Speaking of happy....breakfast makes us happy!  Don't forget to take pics of your breakfast and use #claxtonrepsbreakfast - we'll be posting our favorites over the next couple of weeks!

WE LOVE BREAKFAST. We'll show you ours if you show us yours.

In 2102, Seth Lowe decided he loved breakfast so much that he would photograph it every day for a year.  We love breakfast too!  Even more than that, we love personal projects.  If you haven't seen it, here's your chance.

History with a Modern Twist

Attic Fire recently photographed these old DC row-houses that have been converted into a new learning space for George Washington University Law School.  The facade is original while the interior has been combined into one space with lecture rooms.  The modern addition by Perkins + Will is a great juxtaposition between old and new.

Summer harvesting, happened so fast....

At the end of the summer, a time that feels like years ago now, Eric Prine took a drive through the rolling hills of Southern Washington and photographed wheat being harvested. If you close your eyes you can almost feel the sun.

(for those of you in the midwest who may have already forgotten - the sun is that big orange/yellow thing in the sky that provides light, emits heat and makes you happy)
