Freedom!

I will be traveling to NYC this weekend to celebrate the 4th (among other things) and I'll be sure to stop by the amazing Four Freedoms Park, photographed recently by Attic Fire:

The park celebrates the Four Freedoms that Franklin D. Roosevelt articulated in his 1941 State of the Union address. It's located on the South end of Roosevelt Island.  For more pics and more information about the striking monument, check out Attic Fires blog.
